A Message of Unity

In my last post about awareness, I stated that "Disclosure is huge and multifaceted; it's an ongoing and an unfolding experience of waking up to and learning the truths about many different things on many different levels -- things that have been hidden or kept from us for a very, very long time -- things that may shake your beliefs to the very core."

Oneness expands out beyond our planet. God is the creator of All That Is and we are not all there is. Just imagine that it's announced to the world that there are and have been beings from other planets living here among us and visiting us all the time; and that these beings are more advanced than we are. I mean, that would definitely change things -- big time. When we realize we are dealing with more than just people of planet Earth, it puts a whole new perspective on things, doesn't it?

If you watch TV, have you noticed the increasing subtle or not-so-subtle references to outer space, other planets, ETs, etc. there have been in shows, the news or commercials? Not to mention the movies! Movies galore about this stuff. They are preparing us subconsciously for what is to eventually going to be disclosed.

Check out this not-so-subtle commercial from UNICEF - Chile, published in 2015. According to Michael Salla, Phd, of Exopolitics.org:

It is very significant that the Vatican has indeed been playing a very prominent role in encouraging its billion plus adherents to view extraterrestrials as potential “brothers in Christ”. A number of Vatican astronomers have discussed extraterrestrials in this regard, and the Vatican was linked to a UNICEF video encouraging tolerance of extraterrestrial children. (shown below)

Interesting, isn't it?!

Treasured Teachers

With the recent passing of Dr. Wayne Dyer, I've been thinking about other great spiritual teachers and writers and how grateful I am to have them here, now and to be able to learn from them. Another one that has made a big impact on my life is Neale Donald Walsch. And instead of waiting until after he makes his transition to talk about what a great spiritual teacher he is, I'm going to do it now while he's still physically with us!

I remember when his first book Conversations with God, Book 1 came out. It was released on my mother's birthday -- May 5, in 1995 -- twenty years ago. It was during a turning point in my life, and I was immediately drawn to his books, reading all three in the series and then most of his other books that followed, such as Friendship with God, Communion with God, The New Revelations, Tomorrow's God, Home with God, Happier than God, What God Wants, Moments of Grace, and about ten more! I love the messages so much in all of these books. They have all touched me deeply and my energy resonated with them on a level I had never felt before. I felt the words were confirming what I knew and felt at a soul level and my heart sang out "yes!" as I read them. After I finished Book 1, I immediately ordered half a dozen more copies and gave my closest friends and family members each a copy for Christmas. After I finished reading Book 2 and Book 3 of the Conversations with God books, I remember not only feeling hungry for more of this conversation and couldn't wait for the next book, but I experienced something that I had never experienced before. I ended up crying so hard because I literally felt home sick like I've never felt before, after reading this material. I just felt this intense home-sickness. This is the only way I can explain it. I have read a lot of spiritual books over the last 30 years and no book(s) had ever affected me in that way before.

I have also had the pleasure of experiencing Neale in person on five different occasions over the years, beginning in 1997. Each time he came to Unity of Houston to talk about his books. The first thing I noticed about him was his energy. He emanated such genuine peaceful, loving and compassionate energy. It was palpable. Of course I got several of my books autographed and also had a picture taken with him. His children's books are wonderful too -- even for grown-ups. I also have the movie Conversations with God, documenting his story --  about how he went from being homeless for a year to the automatic writing of these books. He also did a documentary about Indigos, which I posted about here.

Needless to say, Neale and his books and movies have had a big impact on my life, and I know they have for many, many others as well. If you haven't read any of his books yet, especially Conversations with God, Books 1, 2 and 3, I highly recommend them!

To give you a little taste of Neale, click here to watch a series of five short (8 min.) video clips he made talking about The Soul -- Do we have one? Where is it? What is it? What is it's purpose? and more. I think you'll find it interesting.

Also of interest if you are into astrology or numerology (which I am) is that Wayne Dyer's birthday is May 10th (Taurus) and I just noticed that Neale Walsch's birthday is Sept. 10th (Virgo).

Do What You Love to Do

Another one of the messages that has been etched in my mind for some time that I'd like to share is: Do what you love and the money will come. Again, I don't remember where I first heard this statement. Maybe you've heard it. It's true.

I was not one of those kids that always knew what they wanted to be when they grew up. In fact, I was well into my adulthood before I ever really figured out what I really loved or had a passion about. There were several things that I was interested in, but I'm talking about things that really excite you, get your energy flowing...things you love doing that bring you joy.

I have always loved animals and I've had pets since I was a young child. I started with hamsters and got my first dog at the age of ten and my first cat when I was twelve. I was pretty responsible for my age and took good care of them and trained them myself.  I never really imagined myself doing anything with animals when I grew up, other than living with them of course. The only vocation relating to animals (pets) I was aware of back then was a veterinarian and I just don't have what it takes to do that. I'm too squeamish. I knew that wasn't for me.

So I've had my share of jobs since I began working at the age of sixteen, trying to figure out what I liked doing best. Most of them I enjoyed for awhile but would get tired of them. They were all just ways to "make a living" so I could pay the bills. Some I liked more than others but they all gave me good experience in one way or another.

I had never heard of a pet sitter until I was in my thirties and needed one myself. I asked my vet's office if they knew of anyone and one of the male technicians who worked there did pet sitting on the side in addition to going to college to become a veterinarian himself. I hired him for the weekend. It was a huge relief not to worry about our pets. That is what first planted the seed in my head of a new and different possibility that I hadn't thought of before. (The term pet sitter was not a household word at the time.) I now had the thought "wouldn't it be cool to take care of pets 'for a living' -- in that way -- as a pet sitter?" I mean, that would be right up my alley. Taking care of and being around pets comes naturally to me. It's something I have always loved doing since I was a young child. The idea of being a professional pet sitter had never occurred to me before then.

It was just an idea at first. You know, one of those things you day dream about. At the time, I had a job that I had been at for six years. I was very comfortable. I had a good salary and benefits-- security. I wasn't going to leave my comfort zone. Even if it was getting boring. So guess what happened? Yep! I got laid-off. For those of us that drag our feet sometimes, the universe will help give us a little kick in the butt!

Now I had the perfect opportunity to make that dream come true. I did research on pet sitting as a professional business. There were actually a couple of good books out on the subject that were very helpful. I got all my ducks in a row and never looked back. It was something that was easy for me to sell because it was a great service that I believed in and not only was it a great service to others but I have fun doing it.

That is the way it's meant to be! We are meant to have fun! It's not about hard work, struggle or doing things you may not  want to do like we may have been led to believe. It's about doing what you love to do and having fun doing it. Joy is our natural state of being. That's why we are always seeking things that make us happy. And I'm here to tell you that you can do what you love and the money will come! I have a successful professional pet sitting business that is celebrating its twelfth anniversary this year.

Stay focused and have faith -- the universe is on your side!

Daily Inspirational Messages

How do you stay inspired? I like reading books, listening to inspiring people or music, meditating, taking classes, and getting daily messages through email. I signed up for several different daily inspirational email messages. One of them is from Humanity's Team.  The message for Monday was so wonderful I wanted to share.

~ Ted Murray

How does it feel to continue to try to hide your true spiritual nature? When your beliefs are too far ahead of its time it is easy to be ridiculed or allow yourself to feel like you don’t fit in. Remember that everyone in history who broke ground with new theories or discoveries were at first thought to be crazy. Those who are on the leading edge of knowledge breakthroughs are usually both feared and ridiculed by the masses who are still locked into the old paradigms and customs.

The tide is already shifting and the energy of the planet is ready to recognize new paradigms. Haven’t you found it much easier to be open with your deepest knowing with more and more people? Don’t you find that many people are eager to have the opportunity to share their inner thoughts that they might also have been hiding? Realize that not only is the shift taking place, but people are beginning to recognize the absolute necessity of change. When you speak your truth about love, compassion, cooperation, and oneness people will resonate with it and it will empower them to begin to explore their own beliefs on a more profound level. Why not give people the gift of your awakened heart and help the transformation take place quickly and smoothly?

A Big Ah-ha Moment

You know those "ah-ha" moments, when you finally get something? Something finally clicks or you receive some information and suddenly things you didn't understand or were unaware of now make perfect sense. It can even be something you may have read or heard a hundred times before but for whatever reason it usually went right through you and didn't sink in until you have a moment of clarity, and finally, you really get it this time -- you understand. It's clear now. It's like all the pieces of the puzzle finally come together and things make so much more sense. It's a good feeling!

I've had my share of these ah-ha moments and look forward to having more of them! One of the biggest of these I've had most recently, I received last year, in the Spring of 2013. I was excited going into the new year. Thirteen is my lucky number and I could feel that this was going to be a really good year for me. I knew that good things were going to happen (and they did!) but I really didn't have any idea what. I eagerly anticipated what was to come.

Being highly intuitive, I am guided to things (and answers to questions) and I naturally (most of the time) follow where I am led. (Listen to your intuition! It's never wrong!) What's interesting is now with the internet, I am guided to things using this avenue of information as well. Who would have thought that I would have one of the biggest discoveries (or ah-ha moment) about myself that I've ever had, from the internet? Not me.

Well, one day I was just going though my personal emails and as usual, some I sent to the trash, some I saved for later, some I read. I get so many, I rarely read them all. (I sign up for lots of newsletters and such.) The ones that caught my attention, I read and then I would click on a link somewhere and read something else, then I might click on another link in there and go yet somewhere else (like being in an email vortex -- you only meant to go in for a minute to check emails & end up staying for hours!) until I ended up (don't remember how, exactly) at a self-test for adult Indigos. I'm sure it's been there for a long time. I was never aware of it. There was around 25 statements. As I read each statement, I found it interesting that all these different statements were put together because quite honestly, I had never put all these things together. They were attributes of adult Indigos. What really amazed me was that I answered yes to every single one of them. I read them again and again. Then it hit me, the biggest ah-ha ever! I am what has been labeled an adult Indigo and I had no idea until that moment. It was like getting hit over the head with a two by four. A big wave of emotion went through me. It's indescribable. It was one of those moments that seemed to be going in slow motion. I was feeling a lot of emotions all at once. It was a little overwhelming, but in a good way. And then it happened.

My maternal grandmother, whom I adore and who took care of me during the day when I was a small child (who had passed away twelve years earlier), appeared and wrapped her loving energy around me like a blanket to comfort me, to celebrate my awakening and to let me know she is here with me. That was totally unexpected but what a wonderful surprise! The immense love and joy that I was feeling in that moment is beyond words.

Now, without a doubt, I knew I was guided to this message or realization about myself; to realize Who I Really Am and all that may entail, which never stops expanding. This was just one aspect of who I am. But a biggie, none the less. And now I also knew, without a doubt, that I had my own support team on the other side as well.

Though at that moment I really didn't know much at all about Indigos, things that I've often wondered about were starting to make sense. The more research I did on Indigos, the more answers to questions I got and more pieces of the puzzle began falling into place. Memories of all the different psychic experiences I have had in my life started flooding my mind. Many I had forgotten. I found it amazing that I was reading books about adult Indigos that had not only been out for awhile, but that described me so well, even some of my personal feelings and thoughts that I have never expressed to anyone before --  it was almost freaky. How could this be? How could I not -- all this time -- know this about myself?

I do know this: there are no coincidences and everything works in divine order. So instead of fretting over the fact that I have just now put two and two together, I am focusing on learning as much as I can and having the most fun I possibly can on my path now.

This was a huge ah-ha moment for me. It changed my life. It has answered so many questions. It was sort of a home-coming -- coming home to myself, remembering more fully Who I Really Am and why I'm here.

And as if that wasn't enough, during this same time I discovered (on the internet) a wonderful intuitive empath coach by the name of Dr. Michael R. Smith, PhD., who helped me realize that I was also empathetic or an empath (or sometimes called a Highly Sensitive Person). Again, I did a self-test/quiz, listened to Dr. Smith speak about what an empath is and what he does and again, I fit the description to a "T".  I didn't even know there was a term for what I have always experienced. Again, a lot of things I didn't understand about myself were now making much more sense to me. My self-discoveries were just beginning.

I eventually learned that most, if not all Indigo souls are empaths. There are also people who are empaths but are not Indigos. I will be talking more about the aspects of being an empath in the future.

It all boils down to energy. We are all energy beings. Energy does not die, it only changes form. There is no such thing as "death", we only change form. We were energy before we incarnated into a body and we return to that energy with the accumulation of all we have become in this lifetime as well. We are eternal beings of light and love. Extensions of God/Source Energy/All That Is/The One.

When the Student is Ready

I previously wrote about receiving messages in my dreams. Sometimes I have received messages while I'm awake as well, like a warning about something in the future or a message about someone. Sometimes I hear something that someone says or has written in a book that really sticks with me. It's usually a short, simple message. There have been just a few of these and they are messages of truth that seem to get etched in my mind and I keep hearing them over and over. They have been playing in my mind for so long that I usually don't remember where I originally heard them. Have you ever had those?

One of them is When the student is ready, the teacher will appear. I heard this so long ago I don't remember where I heard it but it is true. When you desire to learn about something, the teacher or teachers will present themselves to you. It could be in the form of a person -- one you know or even a stranger, or it can show up in another form like a book, a program on TV, a movie or documentary, a class, an experience, an animal....the resources are endless. The key word here is desire. If it's something you desire to learn or know more about, you are in a sense, asking and the information and answers to your questions will be answered. Ask and it is given. Ask and you shall receive. The teachers will be there. The key is you have to be open to receiving and not limit your teachers or answers to one source or avenue. Try looking at everyone and everything you come in contact with throughout your day as a teacher. Be like the curious child. There is something that you can learn from everyone. Even if it's something very minute or you learn about something that you don't want so now you're more clear on what you do want, so you can focus your attention on what it is you do want.

See the world around you as a teacher. You are the student. The student of life. The spiritual-being-having-a-human-experience student. You are here to learn and experience so you can grow, expand and evolve into the grandest version of the greatest vision you ever held about who you are.

Lucid Dreaming

While I'm on the subject of dreams....

Like I said, I've had several different types of psychic dreams. After my sister died in 1986, I started having more experiences including dreams. I had several dreams in which she & I were sitting on a bench, talking. I always felt good when I woke up from these dreams but I could never remember what we talked about though, which was mildly frustrating. In 1997, on the eleventh anniversary of her death, I had a very lucid "dream". A dream I remember like it was yesterday and that I will never forget. A dream in which I was totally aware that I was in the dream state. Everything in the dream was exactly how it was in "reality" in that moment. I was in my bed, in my home, sleeping. In other words, while my physical body remained asleep, another part of me (my consciousness) sat up in bed because there was an object floating in the air at the foot of my bed. I was staring with indescribable awe and wonder at what I knew to be or represent something spiritual though I didn't understand what it was or meant. It was a pyramid, floating in mid air and it was emanating many beautiful, vibrant colors. Colors I hadn't even seen before. Like I said, I was in such a state of awe and wonder looking at this thing.....and then she appeared standing next to it....my sister Erin. She paid me a visit to let me know she was okay. She was better than okay. I got up out of bed and stood at the foot of my bed in front of her and hugged her. This was the best gift ever!

When I was hugging her, my analytical mind knew I was in the dream state while I was having this experience and I wondered if I was going to feel her as I was hugging her or if my arms would go through her, like I was hugging the air. And that is when I woke up.

Another difference with this "dream" (which actually would be better described as a conscious experience in the dream state) compared to other dreams was the feeling I had when I woke up. (Of course being an Indigo, I feel everything.) I felt wonderful. Uplifted. Comforted. There just aren't enough words to describe how I felt. I saw my sister who died in a car accident eleven years prior. I got to hug her. I can't describe what that meant to me. And this feeling -- the feeling of being with her again -- it lasted for a long time....for weeks. What a wonderful feeling!

In receiving psychic experiences, information or meditating, you have to get out of your mind. This lucid dream I had is a great example of how I was having the greatest psychic dream/experience ever and my mind, which had to analyze, got in the way and I lost the state of consciousness I was in. I woke up that moment. I was really kicking myself in the butt for letting my analytical mind get in the way and cutting it short. But I was also so grateful for having the experience.

An interesting note is during the time I had this experience I was studying for my bachelor's degree in parapsychic science. Parapsychic Science is something I really love and am passionate about and when I discovered I could get a degree in it, well -- I just couldn't wait to tear into it. (I will talk more about this subject later.) The main reason I became so interested in it and that my path led me in that direction was because of my sister's death. Her transition was the hardest thing I've ever had to deal with. To say it changed my life would be an understatement.

Another very interesting note is the pyramid. The place I had been going to (and still do) to get my spiritual or soul food is Unity Church. Though now we have a new, larger sanctuary, our sanctuary was for many years in a pyramid. The pyramid is still there and serves for other functions. I really like it. I like the energy of it. As a matter of fact, the pyramid is where I have been going to Oneness Meditations (I'll talk about this later.) and it's also where I had some incredible experiences and became aware of some gifts that I have while attending a workshop given by psychic medium James Van Praagh. (Another story for later!) I am still receiving meaning from the pyramid in my dream.

Something else that I wondered about until just recently was why did she show up (I'd been wanting it for years) on the eleventh anniversary of her passing? Why not the 10th? The 8th, 5th, or 12th? That puzzled me a little but like I mentioned before, I eventually get an answer to questions I have, particularly if they are pertaining to myself. It wasn't until this year that I realized that 11 is a master number in Numerology (more about this later). And that's because just this year, I have started studying Numerology. I have discovered it to be absolutely intriguing and incredibly accurate. (I may possibly start offering Numerology reports in the near future.)

I've always noticed numbers but never knew or heard much about Numerology. I studied Astrology in the late 1980s and have been studying Aromatherapy since the 1990s. It wasn't until this year when I heard a woman named Glynis McCants speak. She is a Numerologist and wrote a book called Glynis Has Your Number. (Great book, by the way. She makes it very simple and easy to start doing Numerology right away.) After reading her book and starting to do Numerology charts myself, I became more intrigued and am now studying Hans Decoz, who is known as the world's leading expert in Numerology. He wrote a book called Numerology: Key To Your Inner Self. (Excellent book. More detailed!) Turns out, in 1982 he began practicing numerology professionally in Houston, Texas. (He now lives in Arizona.) And his birthday is May 15th! Two days after mine.

And by the way, did I tell you there are no coincidences?

We are One

There are many ways in which God/Source/All That Is, our spirit guides or angels, or the people who have crossed over to the other side, communicate with us or give us messages. One of the most common ways is through our dreams. We are all familiar with the "normal" type of dreams that usually don't make a lot of sense to us and that are mostly in symbols. We can also have psychic dreams and there are different types of psychic dreams. I have had quite a few of these different types of  psychic dreams.

I also get a lot of my questions answered through dreams. It's interesting that there has never been a question that I have had about myself that I have not had answered. It doesn't matter what kind of question either. Whether it was a question about changing places of employment or just curiosities like -- what is it like to die -- and everything in between --  I always get them answered. Sooner or later. Then I come up with more questions.  And believe me, all I have been doing my whole life is asking questions and trying to figure out who I am and why am I here. I am an eternal student of Me, Myself and I. There is always plenty to learn.

Any way, sometimes I will have a dream in which I just get a message. It's short, simple and to the point. I wake up with a sentence or word or whatever message it is, on my mind very vividly. This particular one was literally a message on a scrolling marque. I woke up with the message so clear and strong on my mind that I had to create something to express it. I received this message in the late 1990's. I didn't have a computer yet but a friend did so I made this picture on her computer.

Like I mentioned before, there are no coincidences and here I am in 2013 going to (and have been going to since last year) Oneness Meditations and receiving Oneness Blessings (or Deekshas) and learning about the Oneness University in India. These meditations and blessings are what led to my experiences of awakenings.

The people whose books I read or I follow online or whose classes or workshops I have attended all are saying the same thing. Not to mention all the things that science is discovering about us, consciousness, the universe and how everything is all connected. It's become scientifically undeniable that we are all connected. I am tickled pink that I am witnessing spirituality and science merging. We are all of The One (God) and we are all one. We are connected with everyone and everything including the planet and the universe. We are one. We are one.
